Portrait Photography Session

Fields, fields, fields… I completely LOVE taking photographs outside in this field. There’s something about the raw nature and all the texture that I just absolutely love. I find that I’m very easily drawn to wanting to photograph trees, funky branches, fields, and all the inspiring bits and pieces in between. I can easily say that taking photographs outdoors in these types of settings with the natural light is my all time favorite place to photograph. I would shoot outdoors in these types of setting everyday if I could! Hee hee.

Needless to say I had a blast with this shoot! We spent a full day traveling around Orange County taking photographs at different locations and spent the last 30 minutes of daylight at this field. Annie, my subject was a trooper, she was such a sweetheart and was so open and willing to climb around and get dirty if need be. I had this idea of bringing out this old vintage chaise lounge that I have for the shoot and she was totally up for it! Having grown up surrounded by antiques and vintage items I just love vintage furniture. This particular piece was perfect for our shoot!
